The Abbotsford Community Garden has recently been the victim of several thefts. Due to the alertness of our gardeners, we were able to report the latest crime to the Abbotsford Police Department. Sadly, the stolen equipment was not recovered.
If you witness as theft in progress, please call 911 immediately and get a description of the person(s) and/or get-away vehicle. We cannot advise that you approach the thief as this could lead to injury to yourself.
You will notice that garden tools and equipment are in the process of being labelled. This is our attempt to deter future thieves and identify stolen items in the future. Further action may include locking equipment up. If you notice missing equipment, please notify us via e-mail or make a note on the whiteboard.
