Columbine Leaf Miner

Larvae feed between leaf layers making squiggly trails. Adult is a small fly. Doesn’t damage flowers, and usually doesn’t affect the growth of established plants. Infested leaves can be picked off and removed from garden as soon as tunnelling is noticed in early summer to help decrease further infestation.
