Registration for available plots will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the greenhouse after the Annual General Meeting. This is on a first come first served basis.

If you want a plot, be sure to first read the Garden Agreement that all members must abide by: https://abbotsfordcommunitygarden.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Abbotsford-Community-Garden-Agreement-2018.pdf, then print the first page (the application form) and have it filled in before you arrive. Anyone without a completed form will have to step out of the line to complete it, and that could be all it takes to not get a plot. We have small number of plots available and a lot of would-be gardeners who are hoping to get a plot.

Special Opportunity

New members who agree to act as team leads for their in-kind hours will be offered priority registration. We hope this incentive will help us fill these important positions. Read the responsibilities of each team at abbotsfordcommunitygarden.com/in-kind. Teams still in need of Leads are listed at the top of this webpage. If you feel you are able to lead a team, email administrator@abbotsfordcommunitygarden.com with your name, phone number, a brief description of your experience and your preferred team. If approved, print and bring a copy of the email with you to registration at 11:30 and be sure to tell the registrars that you are present. There will be a lineup, so be sure the organizers know you want to be a Lead and would like priority registration. Note that if you don’t arrive before 11:30, there is a possibility that all the plots will have been rented by the time you do arrive.

The Abbotsford Community Garden is managed entirely by volunteers. We are working hard to put in place the most efficient systems we can think of, and to make them as fair as we possibly can.
